Togo / advancement of women: the AFCET 10 years

The Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Togo (AFCET) commemorates its 10th anniversary this year. To mark the event, officials of the association hosted a press conference this March 12, 2012 at ICRC headquarters in Lome.
An opportunity that allowed them to publish the menu of activities celebrating the decade of the AFCET. These include the day of women’s entrepreneurship and a panel discussion on the theme:” being a woman entrepreneur today: project funding and new payment systems”, which will be held on March 15 followed by an awards ceremony at 4 Women Entrepreneurs of Togo.
A gala dinner announced for March 16, 2012 in a hotel in the capital will close the series of activities.
The AFCET was founded in 2001 by Women Entrepreneurs of Togo willing to organize and build a new dynamic, in order to participate in a coherent and effective economic efforts both nationally and regionally, and to make their voices heard.
Thirty active members make up this association’s objective is generally the establishment of a platform for the promotion and defense of women entrepreneurs in Togo.
