The West African Power Industry Convention (WAPIC) 2012 aims to bring West Africa’s power policy-makers, utilities, regulators, investors and suppliers under one roof to define a way forward to ensure constant supply of energy utilizing the mix of energy sources rich in the region.

With the urgent need to engage the industrial community, Nigeria has oil, manufacturing, food & beverage and plastics industries adversely affected by power shortages and the less that efficient electricity power sector in Nigeria. WAPIC will bring with it the rest of the region’s power sector players, international consultants and experts, project developers and investors and the financial community all under one roof!

WAPIC assists leading stakeholders and professionals to define a roadmap for the future guarantee of energy interdependence and the individual security of supply of each interconnected nation.
