Sign Africa RoadShow on the right track

The Africa Print and Sign Africa RoadShow held recently at the Cape Town Internatianal Convention Centre (CTICC), was a great success.

It attracted 1410 visitors coming to see the good cross-section of products and services on display and exhibitors making good leads on the day.

The RoadShow was an opportunity for entrepreneurs to discover possible business opportunities and learn about new solutions which they can use to grow or improve their business.

Highlights included Indisol Roland showcased the new VersaArt RE-640 graphics printer, Xerox showcased the highly productive Xerox 1000 and Xerox 550, Clear Solutions launched the Asbru Saga 1600 wide format printer, Konica Minolta South Africa showcased its award-winning award-winning bizhub presses and its comprehensive photo book solution and Regma South Africa launched the KIP C7800.

Judges had visited each stand at the expo and judged the stands according to criteria based on design and staff friendliness and professionalism. The stand winners and runners up include:

Best Large Stand (37sqm and bigger)Africa Print: 1st: Nashua 2nd: Xerox.

Sign Africa: 1st: Sign-Tronic and Indisol Roland 2nd: Graphix Supply World.

Best Medium Stand (10 – 36sqm): Africa Print: 1st: Ricoh and Konica Minolta 2nd:

Sign Africa: 1st: Sytech Supplies 2nd: IMDM.

Best Small Stand (1-9sqm) Africa Print: 1st: Maynards Office Equipment and Pantone

2nd: Eco Alpine.

Sign Africa: 1st: Bing Light and Wired4Signs 2nd: All Rich and Frontseat Media.

The international exhibition will be held in Johannesburg 22-24 August 2012.

Last year’s expo in the City of Gold attracted over 6 300 visitors, making it the best attended show to date.
