Over K65 million prizes given out in Airtel Malawi promotion

Airtel Malawi subscribers have gone away with over K65 million worth prizes in the ongoing Yabooka Promotion, according to the company’s press release.

Airtel Malawi’s Sales and Distribution Director Elias Dziko said that the company has already distributed valuable prizes despite the fact that the promotion is yet not over.

He noted that among these prizes, five are Toyota Hilux pick-ups each valued at K9.5 million, 27 subscribers who have won K250 000 cash each and K560 000 worth of airtime each week among others.

“What is more pleasing is that the live of all the winners, who are Malawians and of diverse backgrounds, are already transforming their lives for the better,” he said.

Following the nine draws already held so far, there are two more vehicles to be won, a Toyota Hilux pick-up and the grand prize of the Toyota Prado during the last draw on August 7.

Jane Kholiyo, who is one of the Toyota Hilux pick-up winners in the Airtel Yabooka promotion beamed with excitement appreciating the company’s gesture in making her dream a reality.

“I am grateful to Airtel for being considerate to their customers, with the poultry business I am doing, I have always dreamed of owning a car for easy transportation. I thank God that my dream is now a reality,” said Kholiyo, a mother of six.

Airtel Yabooka promotion has been running for two months with prizes like, Maize mills, Motorcycles, Bicycles, Treadle Pumps, Cash and Airtime being splashed in all parts of the country.
