The anticipated annual IT Leaders West Africa Summit will take place from 28 to 29 November 2012 in the heart of Ghana’s esteemed capital city, Accra. The summit is produced by international business-to-business conferencing company, Kinetic Events; key strategic information providers to the IT and telecoms sector within Africa.

West Africa’s ICT industry is set to take centre stage at the summit this year as the industry sector has forecasted exponential growth in the next years. In a report released earlier this year, it was revealed that West Africa’s mobile communications markets within Nigeria, Cameroon and the Ivory Coast alone earned combined revenue of an estimated $8.6 billion in 2009, and according to this business research report this is estimated to reach $12.6 billion by 2016. The mobile communications market in West Africa is one of the focus points set to be discussed at the summit in November.
