Description — The African Development Bank will open its first Asian office in Tokyo in 2 weeks.
The bank hopes to attract investments from Asia, mainly from high-tech Japanese firms.
Three Japanese staff members along with officials from the bank’s headquarters in Tunisia are busy preparing for the October 15th opening.
The head of the Asian office, Masayuki Tamagawa, said Africa is full of potential, and that he wants to help Japanese firms do business there.
