The anticipated annual IT Leaders West Africa Summit will take place from 28 to 29 November 2012 in the heart of Ghana’s esteemed capital city, Accra. The summit is produced by international business-to-business conferencing company, Kinetic Events; key strategic information providers to the IT and telecoms sector within Africa.

South Africa, Republic of, Oct, 2012 – Globally, information and communication technology (ICT) has proven to be a driving force and an enabler for socio-economic development. Information technology enabled services-business process outsourcing (ITES-BPO) has been highlighted as a priority sector, believed to assist in driving economic growth in Ghana. These enterprises not only bring a once exclusive industry to the region, but also safe employment, exposure to the digital new world, and increased revenue to the country.

In a recent report issued, economic development suggests that GDP growth in a country is closely related to the development of infrastructure within that region; suggesting an increase in public mobile penetration leading to an increase in GDP in a typical developing economy.
