A few weeks ago after launching its umbrella campaign; Timaitha, Airtel has launched Office in a Box, a communication solution for small to medium sized businesses, home offices and aspiring businesses.
This product is in line with the Timaitha theme which cements Airtel’s commitment to enrich customers’ lives by enabling them to achieve more when they connect on the Airtel network.
Speaking during the launch, Airtel Deputy Managing Director disclosed that his company has already launched various products aimed at enriching the day to day lives of its customers.
“A few months ago we launched Dial a Doc; a mobile phone medical advisory service, then we launched the Timaitha Fiesta promotion where we are giving away 32 academic grants worth K100, 000 every week. In partnership with National Bank we also launched Smart Finance, which enables customers to buy smart phones of their choice in installments of up to 12 months,” stated Newa.
Newa revealed that this product has been dubbed Office in a Box because it offers all the components that an office requires to function effectively; namely an internet router, which can connect up to 8 devices (computers or phones) and an analogue phone.
The selling price for Office in a Box is K52, 000 which includes a complementary 400MB of data. However, this service is also available on 24 months contracts so that customers can pay in installments and enjoy value added services.
For the Gold package, customers will pay K 14,999.00 and get 2GB data and 100 local voice minutes. The premium package costs K 29,999.00 and comes with 4GB data and 200 local voice minutes and 50 international calling minutes while the Platinum package costs K39,999 a month and comes with 10GB data, 300 local voice minutes and 100 international voice minutes.
Customers can recharge the Office in a Box account by dialing 160 and check their account balance by dialing 150.
