QUESTION 1 What do you think is the major scope or challenge for the Investments?

Beatrice Nkanza
Information and adequacy of regulatory environment and size of the deals. Many of the markets are quite small with little liquidity.

QUESTION 2 How do you think the political and economical situation effects the scope of Investments in Africa?

Beatrice Nkanza
All countries in “Africa’ are branded the same. There are 53 countries in Africa and all of them are quite different from each other.

QUESTION 3 What would be your suggestion for implementation for a better future for African
Investments?

Beatrice Nkanza
Clustering (regionalization). The size of regional blocks should attract sufficient investments to allow specialization of sectors.

QUESTION 4 According to you how would investments in the region help in economic growth of Africa?

Beatrice Nkanza
Every economy needs investment to grow to increase returns for investors, create employment and overall economic improvements. Free movement of such investments is the answer.
