The next Xbox is on its way, and while we already know a lot, there are many unanswered questions leading up to Microsoft’s May 21 reveal. The landscape for console gaming is changing. An old console with beefier hardware isn’t going to cut it this time, and both Microsoft and Sony are going to have to work harder than ever to convince consumers to shell out the cash for a new system. Nintendo didn’t make that argument as well as it could have — it’s paying the price as it struggles to move the Wii U.
