Bank of Africa wants to open in Cameroon

Yet to open in the CEMAC region, the pan-African banking group in the coming days will file an application for approval in Cameroon. The Group, majority owned by the Moroccan BMCE, wants to grow in the CEMAC region.

In an interview to Jeune Afrique, its President, Mohamed Bennani, announced the filing in the first days of May. Very well established in the west and east of the continent, the bank will be created ex nihilo.

BOA intends to develop its universal banking strategy in the Cameroonian market based on two strong pillars: the conquest of the general public, via the right products and the opening of branches and corporate banking, with noteworthy financing.
