NRM rebels: Is this a war of conscience or just rabble rousing?

THE RECENT decision by the central executive committee of Uganda’s ruling party, National Resistance Movement (NRM), to expel four members of parliament and suspend another, was indeed a tough decision for the party leadership. It was a huge gamble considering the fact that every political party, the world over, seeks to expand and not reduce its representative arithmetic.
