Kenya: Nation's Current Account Deficit Widens Further

[The Star]Kenya’s imports value is growing at a faster rate than its exports, worsening her balance of trade. The Economic Survey 2013 shows the worth of imports increased to Sh1.37 trillion in 2012, slightly higher than Sh1.30 trillion in 2011. Trade balance deteriorated further to 55.4 per cent compared to 46.7 per cent in the previous year.
