[CAF]Nigerian club Enugu Rangers defied the odds to reach the Orange CAF Confederation Cup group stage at the weekend. A depleted team survived constant pressure to force a 0-0 play-off draw with CS Sfaxien in Tunisia and advance 1-0 on aggregate. National team call-ups robbed Enugu of goalkeeper Chigozie Agbim and midfielder Sunday Mba and visa problems delayed several players. Ben Youssef Fakhreddine failed to convert a late first-half penalty for Sfaxien, who were crowned Tunisian champions last Wednesday.
