Ncube should stay the course

EDITOR — Your story titled “Grand coalition collapses” refers. I am sorry to say that the coalition between the MDC-T, MDC and other fringe political formations cannot be achieved if they cannot commit themselves to working together.
Yes, they can work together for now, but they will soon be at each other’s throats the moment they win because Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai is an extremely unreliable, forgetful and undependable character.
It’s better for Welshman Ncube to continue building his party slowly but surely as he has been doing all along.
Admittedly, it’s a long-term project, but Ncube is advised to pursue it all the same rather than getting distracted by promises from Tsvangirai who is only after winning this election and afterwards will turn his back on his coalition partners once he is in office.
Look at the way he is already dumping his deputy Thokozani Khupe by leaving her completely in the cold in his proposed coalition power hierarchy.
