Oupa Magashula Sars’ Oupa Magashula resigns

Sars commissioner Oupa Magashula resigned today, Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan has announced.

On March 24, City Press reported that SA Revenue Service boss Magashula was at the centre of a jobs-for-pals scandal involving a convicted drug dealer.

Magashula’s resignation comes after he was presented with the findings of an investigation report compiled by Justice Jak Yacoob today.
