Ethiopia: Eight Employees of EEPCo Arrested

[Addis Fortune]The Federal High Court, last week, granted the Federal Ethics & Anti-Corruption Commission (FEACC) 14 days to investigate further into the cases of eight employees of the Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo). The employees were arrested by the Federal Police for allegedly allowing the purchase of 5,202 used transformers from two Indian companies and embezzling close to 25 million dollars.
