Burkina Faso: World Bank to Help Bring Electricity to Urban and Rural Areas

[World Bank]Washington -The World Bank Board of Executive Directors today approved a $US50 million International Development Association (IDA)* credit to support Burkina Faso’s efforts to improvethe reliability electricity supply, increase access to electricity in the country’s fast-growing cities, and spread the use of renewable energy sources in certain rural areas.
