200 Guns Surrendered By Communities in Baringo, Pokot

[The Star]200 guns have so far been surrendered by communities in Baringo and Pokot Counties in the ongoing arms disarmament exercise in the region within the last three weeks. Baringo County Commissioner Benard Leparamarai says the government is also carrying out public meetings to urge communities to surrender all arms and stop cattle rustling activities in the region. He says the government will not use force if the communities accept to give up arms.
