Time Warner beats Wall Street expectations with help from Superman

Wall Street needed to believe a studio could fly. With a little help from Superman, Time Warner beat analyst expectations upon release of its second-quarter financials Wednesday, posting earnings of $771 million, up from $413 million at this time last year. Revenue hit $7.40 billion, up from $6.74 in the same quarter of 2012.
