The Cape Town home of Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu was broken into.

Tutu and his wife were asleep when intruders entered their Milnerton home yesterday morning, Eyewitness News reported today.

Western Cape police said some small items were stolen, including keys and remotes.

Tutu and his wife were not harmed.
