Clean-tech making waves in the Isle of Man

In recent times, it has become clear there is a need to reformulate our approach to energy supplies and policy. Renewable energies and sustainable technologies have simultaneously emerged as the saviours, solutions, and goals in the global struggle to alleviate carbon emissions and meet the needs of future energy demand. The role of cleantech has consequently risen in importance, and one small island has positioned itself at the forefront of the revolution, writes Ken Milne, senior manager for energy policy at the department of Economic Development, Isle of Man.
