Facebook Starts Sharing Mobile User Counts For Each Country: US Hits 101M Mobile Dailies, UK 20M

Facebook wants businesses to understand mobile better, so today it announced it will start sharing country-by-country mobile monthly and daily active user counts. The United States has 142 million monthly and 101 million daily active mobile users, while the UK has 26 million monthly, and 20 million daily mobile users.

This added transparency will help the world see whether Facebook’s mobile growth is being entirely propped up by international adoption. Previously, Facebook had only shared its combined web and mobile user counts by region, and its mobile user counts as global totals. This made it tough to tell where exactly its mobile growth was coming from.

Facebook is starting the increased transparency with more detailed data on the US and UK. Here’s the full list of new stats:
