Drop in gold and copper price sees OZ Minerals slip into red

SYDNEY – Gold and copper miner OZ Minerals Wednesday reported a $268 million loss for the first half of its financial year, largely on the back of a after-tax $232
million writedown of its assets due to a slump in prices of its produce. Investors reacted poorly to the news. At 1205 AEST, Oz Minerals shares were 3.19 per cent lower at $4.25 against a benchmark index rise of 0.01 per cent. …
