Anti-doping regional organization meets in Morocco

Rabat, August 16, 2013 (MAP)

The regional anti-doping organization (ORAD), Africa-Zone 1 will hold this Aug.21-22 its 7th ordinary meeting in Rabat.

Held in cooperation with the youth and sports ministry and the Moroccan national anti-doping center, the meeting is part of Morocco’s efforts to promote awareness to the dangers of doping.

The meeting will look into 2013 anti-doping programs and the revision of the world anti-doping code to which Morocco contributed by making remarks on the anti-doping control procedure.

ORAD Afrique Zone 1, chaired by Morocco which also hosts its bureau, comprises Tunisia, Algeria, Mauritania, Libya and Morocco.
