HM the King orders dispatching aid for flood-stricken populations in Sudan

Following the catastrophic floods that have stricken the Republic of Sudan, mainly the Khartoum region, HM King Mohammed VI ordered to send humanitarian aid for the disaster-hit populations.

The aid, worth 5 million dirhams, is provided by the Moroccan agency for international cooperation and the royal armed forces (FAR), a statement from the royal office said.

 The aid, to be airlifted by the FAR, is made up of consignments of medicines, tents, foodstuff, water bottles, power-driven pumps and electric generators.
