U.S. says unable to conclusively say chemical weapons used in Syria

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States is unable to conclusively say that chemical weapons were used in an alleged gas attack near Damascus and U.S. President Barack Obama has directed the U.S. intelligence community to urgently gather information to help verify allegations, the State Department said on Thursday.
