Egypt to spend EGP10bn on public investments

Egypt: Egyptian planning minister Ashraf al-Arabi has said the interim cabinet is set to discuss a plan to stimulate the economy over the next nine months, Ahram has reported. If approved, the plan would be implemented over a period of nine months, he said. It includes at least EGP10bn ($1.4bn) in additional government investment to stimulate the economy, al-Araby said.
