Eastern Cape men held over drugs worth R1.4m

Four men were arrested in Graaff Reinet after they were found in possession of drugs with an estimated street value of R1.4 million, Eastern Cape police said.

The men were caught last night after they had been followed by police, said Lieutenant Livhuhani Hani.

Police recovered 14 bags of Mandrax tablets, 10 bags of dagga and a VW sedan.

The men, aged between 28 and 41, would appear in the Graaff Reinet Magistrate Court soon, said Hani.
