Zimbabwe will hold its annual edition of the leading infrastructure building construction and allied trades in the built environment Zimbabwe Build (ZimBuild) conference and exhibition on 6 to 9 November, 2013 in Harare.
According to Monica Kanyepi, Chief Executive of Zimbuild, “It is the premier event presenting a new, focused, relevant and value adding platform for the Built Environment. Affirming that the construction industry has a pivotal role to play in infrastructure delivery to meet the needs of ordinary Zimbabweans, Infrastructure delivery and refurbishment, building and construction, are key to igniting the economic growth for the nation. The performance of the sector remains one of the leading barometers of economic activity and performance. “
She said that the perspective that the reconstruction and development process in Zimbabwe should be integrally linked to the reconstruction and development of the economy remains a guiding light in overall endeavors and in the Zimbuild initiative.
“ZimBuild therefore presents a rare opportunity for all stakeholders in the built environment, public, private and third sector to commit to a vision of a transformed industry contributing towards the realization of national social and economic goals,” Kanyepi said.
