Marketing will help project Africa’s digital transformation

Africa is not seating back to wait donor assistance from the developed world but is aggressively making strides to display positive potential the continent can offer in terms of market access, Director General of the National Broadcasting Commission, (NBC) Emeka Mba disclosed this recently.

Mba says despite challenges in various aspects, potential stakeholders wishing to tap into Africa resources experience opportunities that the continent offers and that while Africa had its challenges, those wishing to come should see them as opportunities for mutual benefit, like some American companies recently took advantage of the power challenges to enter a partnership to privatize the power sector in Nigeria.

The conference with the theme: “It is time for Africa” was organized by MIPCOM, the global content market organization.

Contrary to the impression created by international media, Africa was not one country, but a number of countries with varying characteristics and peculiarities.
