Zebra launches New ZD500R™ UHF RFID Printer for the Middle East at Gitex 2013
Advanced Features + Simple Operation all designed to encourage broader adoption of RFID in the region across a range of sectors

The new printer, which is being unveiled at Gitex 2013, offers a range of features and simplicity of operation, all at the desktop and designed to encourage broader adoption of RFID. The ZD500R is a Link-OS-enabled printer with advanced Ultra High Frequency RFID encoding capabilities. It is exceptionally easy to integrate and operate and its compact footprint fits easily into small workspaces. The printer is easy to load and includes automatic RFID calibration for reduced waste, lower media cost and fewer roll changes. The inclusion of Near Field Communication (NFC) means that users can pair devices with just a tap for quick troubleshooting. The large LCD screen and simplified menu make operation intuitive and it is compatible with inlays from all leading suppliers, supporting both direct thermal and thermal transfer printing to meet the unique tagging needs of customers. The ZD500R has a large memory, numerous connectivity options and Zebra programming language; so it can perform in the most demanding environments.
