The Enterprise Mobility Africa Summit: Less than a month to go!

Next month, The Enterprise Mobility Africa Summit will bring together the thinkers and the doers in the African mobility space. An agenda packed with industry speakers and solution providers will connect you with the early adopters and developers of EM technology.

Featured keynote speakers include Alistair Fairweather, CTO of the Mail and Guardian. Alistair was responsible for launching the first paid iPad edition of a weekly newspaper in South Africa and the Mail & Guardian iPhone app.
Customer-facing applications and customer-driven mobility projects are fast becoming a priority and the EMA Summit will focus on the potential that mobile apps have to improve productivity in the enterprise.

Brett Loubser who Heads up WeChat for Africa, will be taking the stand to discuss Native application technology for different devices, has the time come to consolidate? No stranger to mobility, Brett has been involved in the mobile space since 1997 and has launched new device categories and application stores. He is currently focused in the app space but has experience in product marketing from network operator (MTN) and device manufacturer (Nokia and Samsung) perspectives.

Published IT author and Solutions Strategist for CA Technologies, Gareth James will also be sharing his views on mobile apps in a keynote on Enterprise Mobility – It’s All About the Apps. Gareth will expand on the opportunity presented by organizations to introduce employees and customers to unique, task-specific mobile apps.

In between speaker presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in 90 minute workshop sessions and learn about valuable EM solutions with the solution provider of their choice. Tech Mahindra, Airwatch and Webroot amongst others are sending a team of experts to find answers to your mobility challenges in the workplace. Tech Mahindra will deliver a workshop on Solving the jigsaw puzzle for mobility needs across Enterprises and Telcos. Attendees can select workshops with the solution provider of their choice and these sessions are designed to maximise Q&A time with the audience and give attendees the opportunity to raise their questions with IT experts and peers alike.
