From October 19 to 25, 2013 Dubai hosts this five day event, highlighting a number of relevant subjects related to ICT, current developments and future prospects along with the notable innovative methods applied in the industry.

Apart from being an extremely lucrative business choice, ICT has also become a favorite for the giants in finance and investment around the world as a safe and secure choice, which has a surety of growth. In addition to this are the numerous business activities including a string of conferences and special highlights, which makes the Gitex Technology Week truly inspirational and enlightening for all the participants. Below are excerpts of an interview with Mr. Haresh Bakhru, Director of Business Development.

What is the nature of your business?

Information technology.

What kind of products do you offer?

IT related materials, NetApp, Microsoft: Data Storage & Management for Virtualization and SharePoint. Digital family solutions, Apple reseller and provider solutions.

How is your country positioned in your country and what are its future objectives?

Very good, the objective is to be recognized and very well known as Information Technology in the Middle East Region.

What countries do you particular see as having great potential?

Middle East Countries.

What regions are you most focused on?

Gulf Cooperation Council.

What are your current business interests in Africa? In which African countries?

Not much.

What opportunities do you see in Africa?

Good, but we have to explore it.

Why did you decide to exhibit at the event? What are you hoping to achieve?

We are exhibiting for the past ten years in Gitex.

What are your impressions of the event?

Very good.

We should be known in African countries is real.
