The industrial sector is set to converge in East Africa next year for the Indusmach Africa 2015.
The 17th edition of the event, which seeks to providing an opportunity to companies to promote their products, equipment and machinery to the wide African market, will take place in Kenya and Tanzania on 07th to 09th May 2015 and 23rd to 25th May 2015 respectively.
Indusmach Africa has been hailed as the meeting place for manufacturers, suppliers and industry consumers. Going by the fact that about 6,000 visitors from across East and Central Africa attended the 2013 edition, the number of exhibitors and visitors in 2015 is expected to rise by at least 20 per cent.
“We believe this collaboration will benefit the growth of supporting industries tremendously. Not only will it have the discovery of latest in the industry but also meet companies from over 20 counties,” said the organizer.
The expo is expected to attract an exciting lineup of both local and international companies and is an ideal platform for product launches, finding new buyers and distributors, promoting brand names and image, updating existing customers and updating oneself with the latest in the industry.
The expo is being organized by Expo Group Worldwide, organizers of the largest international trade shows in Africa.
Though Kenya by itself is one of the biggest markets in Africa, major emphasis is being laid upon attracting traders and importers from neighboring countries.
Although Kenya is seen as a business hub in East Africa, Tanzania has some advantages that make it an attractive long-term location for business development.
The country has a stable political climate and has enjoyed continued economic growth for over a decade. Tanzania also offers a very friendly and business like atmosphere to foreign investors and products. Duties are considerably low and re-exports to neighboring countries are either very low or exempted.
