Business In Theory is hosting an event on how to create jobs in the SME Sector.

SME ScaleUp is on the 23rd November 2016 at the VodaWorld in Midrand. Entrepreneurs and business owners, alongside corporate and government are invited to discuss how the SME sector can create jobs in the era of industrialization. This will include discussions on the challenges to start and manage a business, compliance, and provide strategies to uncover opportunities amidst the challenges.

At the event, Business In Theory will launch a pilot project that will recruit 50 unemployed graduates to assist entrepreneurs to develop growth strategies and expose opportunities to create jobs within their own businesses.

“The intention is to fill the gap for entrepreneurs that lack of experience and expertise in formulating and implementing growth strategies. Entrepreneurs are otherwise distracted by the daily grind of the business,” says Marang Marekimane, Founder of Business In Theory. “We can assist them to work on their business and not in the businesses. We can create more jobs in the sector”.

The event provides a platform for entrepreneurs to learn how to structure their businesses and identify opportunities. This will improve the quality of applications submitted for enterprise and supplier development. SME’s will also have the opportunity to exhibit their products and services, providing to access markets.

Tickets for the SME ScaleUp event are available via www.businessintheory.co.za.
