In an ongoing pursuit of delivering paramount medical services and health care facilities to the African nations, India (New Delhi) based BLK Super Speciality Hospital has announced signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute (MOI), which is one of the largest orthopaedic hospital in Tanzania. The pact would help promote cooperation and mutual understanding between the two countries.

Research by GSMA, a company that represents the interests of mobile operators’ worldwide, uniting nearly 800 operators with almost 300 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem, has revealed that almost half of global mobile phone users still only use their devices to make voice calls and send SMS, according to new consumer research by GSMA Intelligence. The new Global Mobile Engagement Index (GMEI) measures the level of engagement of mobile phone users across a wide array of use cases and services. This first-of-its-kind consumer index is based on inputs from the 2016 GSMA Intelligence consumer survey, which surveyed mobile users across 56 global markets representing 80 per cent of the world’s population. The first GMEI study was released on February 16th 2017, and is expected to be updated every year.
