Tanzania: World Merit Gains 150% YoY growth in 2016.

World Remit, has announced a 150 per cent Year on Year growth in 2016 and 10,000 unique transactions performed in December last year. The digital money transfer, World Remit, has grounded its presence in Tanzania and providing money transfer services and the growing demand for instant remittances of over 4 million expatriates living outside the country. The services provided by World Remit allows customers to transfer money from abroad directly to Mobile Money services in Tanzania. The Mobile Money platforms such as Tigo Pesa, Vodacom M-Pesa and Zantel Ezy Pesa Mobile Money accounts makes it easy and convenient for residents in Tanzania to access money from clients, family, and friends in abroad. People in more than 50 countries can send instant, secure transfers to more than 140 destinations through the platform. Angola Cables to peer at NAPAfrica: Africa’s most connected Internet Exchange

Angola Cables, a leading telecoms operator is expanding its network reach and peering capabilities across the globe.
