VODACOM’S “NXT LVL” TV SHOW TAKES OVER THE DURBAN JULY WITH MZANSI’S MUSICAL & CELEBRITY TALENTS

‘THE NXT LVL’ music talent search, powered by South Africa’s First and Best 4G network Vodacom, which will air on Mzansi Magic mid – September 2017, took over the Durban July to celebrate the end of the first phase of its national search for the next biggest music superstar, the marquee was buzzing with popular culture enthusiasts and celebrities, who showed up in excitement of the opportunities and inspiration the show will be investing in the music industry.

The Vodacom NXT LVL marquee was hosted by the Head Of Communication & Branding at Vodacom, Veli Mabena and some of Mzansi’s biggest names in entertainment including presenter and model Mbali Nkosi, comedian Nina Heistie, DJ Switch, hip hop star Priddy Ugly, actors Raphael Griffiths, Nkuli Tshirumbule, rapper K2 and NXT LVL Show mentor Riky Rick were spotted doing interviews and chats amongst each other.

“The NXT LVL show, is giving young South Africans the opportunity to follow their passions and realize their dreams, by giving access to all the things needed to help anyone get ahead in the music business. The support that the cast and the show has received from local artists is breath taking and we are excited to go live. As a network, we believe in sharing authentic life changing moments” said Diedre Lodwig, Marketing Manager of the Vodacom NXT LVL brand.

This week marks the beginning of shooting the THE NXT LVL show featuring Mzansi’s very own music icons ; DJ Zinhle, Danny K, DJ Euphonik, Riky Rick himnslef and Durban’s own Big Nuz (who hosted a media dinner in Durban for the show) will play their part as mentors to the SA’s next superstars.

The finalists of THE NEXT LVL music search will be showcasing their talents to stand a chance to win 10- week masterclass where they will be mentored by some of South Africa’s top musical talent. Also up for grabs is a 1Million cash prize that will give one deserving young talented musician an opportunity to fast track their careers to the next level.
