An International Monetary Fund (IMF) team led by Mr. Subir Lall visited Cairo from October 25 to November 9, 2017, to hold discussions on the 2017 Article IV Consultation with Egypt and the second review of Egypt’s economic reform program supported by a three-year IMF Extended Fund Facility (EFF—see Press Release No. 16/501). read more

UK’s export finance available to Ethiopia has increased to £200 million

The UK has doubled the amount of export finance it is making available to support UK-Ethiopia bilateral trade, the British International Trade Secretary, Dr Liam Fox has announced. Dr Fox made the announcement during a visit to Addis Ababa, where he was accompanied by UK businesses from the infrastructure and energy sectors. read more
