2nd edition of agrofood & plastprintpack West Africa from 02 – 04 December at the AICC

Featuring top quality exhibitors from 11 countries and a giz seminar on packaging and food safety

(Heidelberg / Accra) The Accra International Conference Centre opens its doors for the 2nd edition of agrofood & plastprintpack West Africa from 2 to 4 December 2014. Top quality exhibitors from 11 countries will present their latest innovations to a highly professional visitorat. Additionally the visitors can attend a giz seminar on packaging and food safety. Honorable representatives from industry and politics already confirmed their participation at the official opening ceremony on 2 December at 11 am. This leading international trade show is organized by the German trade show specialists fairtrade and supported by the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana.

 

agrofood West Africa, the 2nd International Trade Show on Agriculture, Food and Food Technology and plastprintpack West Africa, the 2nd International Trade Show on Plastics and Printing & Packaging Solutions and Material will be held from 2 to 4 December at the Accra International Conference Centre. The organisers are delighted to welcome notable exhibitors from eleven countries, namely from Austria, France, Germany, Ghana, India, Italy, Ivory Coast, Korea, Lebanon, Switzerland and Turkey. Once again they will present their latest innovations to a highly professional visitorat from Ghana and other ECOWAS countries, like Nigeria, Senegal and the Ivory Coast.

In parallel, giz Ghana is hosting a seminar on “Packaging and Food Safety in the Ghanaian Agriculture and Food Industry“ on 3 December 2014. The participation for professionals from the industry is free-of-charge. Three main topics will be discussed: “Post-harvest handling of commodities and food products”, “Food processing and packaging” and “Implementing international standards in the food industry”. The speakers represent the following organisations: Agric Engineering Services, Blue Skies, Food and Drugs Authority, Food Research Institute of Ghana, Ghana Standard Authority, HPW, Institute for Packaging, Nestlé, Peelco Fruits, SmartCert, Traque, Unilever and Yedent.

 

Honorable representatives from industry and politics already confirmed their participation at the official opening ceremony on 2 December at 11 am. Amongst them: H.E. Ruediger John, Ambassador of Germany to Ghana, H.E. Frédéric Clavier, Ambassador of France to Ghana, H.E.
