Aerovy Software and ATA Insurance to Provide Enhanced Solutions for PHA-ZE 100 Operators
JEKTA, the Switzerland-based manufacturer of the zero-emissions PHA-ZE 100 amphibious aircraft, is reinforcing its operational ecosystem through two new strategic partnerships. The company has selected the Aerovy software platform to improve aircraft health monitoring and predictive maintenance for PHA-ZE 100 operators. Aerovy’s technology will collect and analyze data, helping operators make more informed decisions regarding operations, maintenance, and budgeting.
Aerovy, a US-based company, specializes in integrating hardware and software solutions for the aerospace, infrastructure, and energy transition sectors. Through their collaboration, JEKTA and Aerovy aim to support aircraft owners and operators by enhancing maintenance management and providing valuable operational insights. These insights will benefit not only the operators but also stakeholders in the broader ecosystem, including insurers.
Nick Gunady, CEO of Aerovy, explains, “Amphibious aircraft like the PHA-ZE 100, which operate on water as well as on both paved and unpaved runways, require advanced performance monitoring and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize operations. Our Spectra platform will help JEKTA support operators in remote or challenging environments, reducing maintenance-related disruptions and ensuring consistent revenue.”
In addition, JEKTA has partnered with UK-based Advanced Technology Assurance (ATA), a specialized insurance provider, to offer tailored insurance solutions to PHA-ZE 100 customers. Through this preferred provider relationship, ATA will offer competitive insurance products, including hull insurance and additional coverage tailored to the specific needs of amphibious aircraft operators.
ATA will also provide updates on emerging trends in aerospace technology and insurance requirements for amphibious aircraft. Alistair Blundy, CEO and Lead Underwriter at ATA, notes, “The custom insurance policies being developed for JEKTA customers will provide operators with confidence in their investment and make it easier to navigate the often complex insurance landscape for amphibious aviation. This partnership ensures that operators can better anticipate direct operating costs and feel secure in their asset protection.”
Both partnerships are already active, marking a key milestone in JEKTA’s effort to create a comprehensive operational ecosystem. “We are building an ecosystem that offers end-to-end support for our customers, from asset acquisition to maintenance and insurance,” says JEKTA CEO Alafinov. “With partners in leasing, hydrogen propulsion, maintenance management, and now insurance, we are laying the foundation for the successful operation of the PHA-ZE 100.”
As JEKTA continues to advance the development of the PHA-ZE 100, the company remains focused on expanding its network of strategic partners to enhance the overall customer experience and operational value.
