Tsheto and GreatWell to Host Leadership Workshop – A Call for Action: Agitating for Stewardship and a Better Tomorrow

In honour of Mandela Month, Tsheto Leadership and Coaching Academy, in partnership with GreatWell, will host a transformative Leadership Workshop on 17 July 2025 at The Maslow, Sandton. The one-day, high-impact experience is a call for action—designed to awaken decision-makers to the long-reaching consequences of their everyday leadership choices, and to empower them to steward change with intention and integrity.

With the theme “Agitating for Stewardship and a Better Tomorrow”, the workshop calls on C-suite executives, transformation and procurement teams, HR leaders, and other decision-makers to reframe their roles not just as operational or strategic—but profoundly social in their impact.

“This is not a compliance exercise. We’re asking people to show up as leaders who understand the power of their roles—who recognise that every decision, no matter how small, has a ripple effect,” says Queen Ramotsehoa, founder of Tsheto and author of Leadership Anchored in Consciousness is a Big Deal. “Whether you sign off on a hiring process, choose a supplier, or design a performance review system—those decisions shape people’s lives. This workshop is about bringing consciousness to that responsibility. We want participants to leave the workshop with a refreshed sense of accountability.”

A Joint Effort for Greater Impact

This workshop is a collaborative effort between Tsheto and GreatWell, a trusted leadership and coaching practice that shares a commitment to enabling impactful and values-based decision-making. Together, they offer a space where participants are challenged to not only reflect—but to act.

Keynote Speaker: Professor Saths Cooper

The workshop will feature a keynote by Professor Saths Cooper, one of South Africa’s most distinguished psychologists and human rights leaders. A former close colleague of Steve Biko and a former political prisoner, Prof. Cooper is the past president of the Psychological Society of South Africa (PsySSA), the International Union of Psychological Science, and the Pan-African Psychology Union. A Fulbright scholar with a PhD from Boston University, Cooper has led multiple academic institutions and currently chairs both the Robben Island Museum Council and the Freedom Park Council.

“Having Professor Cooper with us is more than symbolic,” says Ramotsehoa. “He embodies the courage, vision, and accountability that we need in our leadership today.”

Facilitators: Voices of Experience and Vision

The workshop will also feature guided sessions by two dynamic facilitators:

  • Tantaswa Fubu, founding-CEO of GreatWell, and an accomplished corporate leader and executive coach who is known for her strategic influence in governance, transformation, and leadership development. Her expertise in aligning leadership behaviour with societal outcomes, and advocating for wellness in the workplace, makes her a powerful voice in the boardroom and beyond.
  • Rehema Isa, a visionary business strategist and entrepreneur, brings deep experience in enterprise development, gender equity, and inclusive leadership. She is co-founder of Oya Solutions, a specialist strategy and leadership development firm that helps clients find better and more innovative ways to unlock growth.

Their sessions will challenge participants to think systemically, reflect deeply, and commit to at least one practical initiative they can implement post-workshop to improve impact in their sphere of influence.

Why Attend?

This workshop is for decision-makers who want to lead with depth and deliberation. It is particularly relevant for:

  • C-suite executives and business leaders
  • Procurement, governance, and transformation teams
  • Public sector and SOE leaders
  • HR, organisational development, and coaching professionals
  • Anyone in a position to influence people, policy, or process

“The seemingly small decisions made at a desk today can shape mental wellness, economic inclusion, and organisational culture for years to come,” adds Ramotsehoa. “We’re calling on leaders to see themselves as stewards of that impact.”
