The key Moroccan start-up support players come together to promote a competitive innovation ecosystem in Morocco
In the last 3 years, start-ups have been generating a growing interest in Morocco among public institutions, international organizations and corporates. At the African level, startups have managed to attract more than $1 billion in investments from international venture capital players in 2018, which clearly demonstrates their economic and societal impact.
Today, Morocco has the ambition to build a competitive start-up ecosystem, and start-up support structures will play a key role in achieving this objective. In France, for example, 200 million euros of financing have been injected into incubators and accelerators to position the country in the international start-up scene.
