RADWIN’s wireless broadband radios operate in heavy interference & non line-of-sight
TEL AVIV, Israel, Aug. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — RADWIN (www.radwin.com), the global provider of Backhaul and Broadband Wireless solutions, today announced that Africa INX, an ISP based in Gauteng, deployed the RADWIN 5000 point-to-multipoint solution to deliver high-capacity services to businesses requiring a reliable, fast connection. The RADWIN 5000 base station was installed at the Irene Mall, and covers the entire R21 office park. The RADWIN installation is also backhauled into the Africa INX fibre node in R21 through which Africa INX provides Internet, MPLS and other related services.
RADWIN 5000 point-to-multipoint solution delivers high-capacity of up to 200 Mbps and guaranteed bandwidth. Incorporating advanced technologies such as MIMO and OFDM, RADWIN 5000 operates in demanding environments including non-line-of-sight, harsh climates and challenging topographies.
