Digital Marketing Institute Secures €3 million Certification Deal in South Africa

Ireland’s Minister for Trade and Development Leads Enterprise Ireland Trade Mission to South Africa

On Sunday 10 November 2012, Ireland’s Minister for Trade and Development, Joe Costello TD, will lead an Enterprise Ireland trade mission with 37 companies to South Africa. The trade mission is being organised by Irish trade and technology agency, Enterprise Ireland in close cooperation with Ireland’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Embassy of Ireland in Johannesburg. It is aimed at cementing the growing trade relations between the two countries and is part of a broad, long term strategy to further develop Irish trade links and partnerships not just in the South African market, but in the wider Sub-Saharan region. Coface projections on SA, Africa and the global economy will have to be tested

Coface has projected that by 2016, South African exports into Africa will increase significantly but will be offset by an equivalent drop in trade with Europe. IMF Concludes Staff Mission to Uganda

  KAMPALA, Uganda, November 6, 2012/African Press Organization (APO)/ – An International Monetary Fund (IMF) team visited Kampala from October 24 to November 6, 2012 to carry out discussions with the Ugandan authorities for the fifth review of their IMF-supported economic and financial program. Joju Solar aid electrification of hospital in Kenya

  Joju Solar have assisted in the installation of a 2.2 kW off grid solar PV system on a remote village clinic in Kenya, in association with the Sindicatum Climate Change Foundation The project has enabled the remote clinic, which is off the electricity grid, to be fitted with a solar/battery system to supply power to the clinic for the first time. The generated power is used to run energy efficient lighting and ceiling fans in the wards. And importantly, the project also provides a super insulated fridge for the storage of vaccines and medicines.
